One very early morning just before we left for the south of France, I went out to take some early morning photos. When I say early, I mean before the sun comes up. The kind of light at that time of day only lasts for a half an hour or so. I headed out in the dark. In the back of my mind I considered the fact that I might get mugged. There were still a lot of people out at 5.00am. My first series of photos featured a building called L'Opera de Lyon. Jean Nouvel, the aechitect who designed the tower in Barcelona(which we had seen in 2004) also won the competion to remodel the opera house in Lyon France. I don't know if his work is considered a blemish on the face of Lyon as some consider the famous glass pyramids in front of the Louvre, by I.M.Pei. Regardless, here are some photos of that time.
